GR Group of Industries is a conglomerate of Companies that operate in various sectors of steel business viz. Sponge Iron (DRI), MS Ingots, High Carbon Rounds, Cast Iron, Structural items, Power, Ferro alloys. The group is well established in the mode of expanding operations while the total revenue of encompassed together is approximately ₹1000 Cr. in FY 2021-22 and provides direct and indirect employment to over 100 people.

Group's enterprising spirit started with a small steel rolling business in 1982. Late. Shri. Ganpat Rai Agrawal migrated from Mahendragarh, Haryana, started their first steel manufacturing venture in name of "Agrawal Steel Rolling Mill". Today his legacy is being carried forward by his Son and Present Chairman of the Group Shri Ramesh Kumar Agrawal and his two sons Shri Chetan & Keshav Kumar Agrawal under the umbrella of GR Group.

In 1994, the group established another Rolling mill along with Induction Furnace in the name of M/s Ramesh Steel Industries. Thereafter the group expanded through backward integration and set up a sponge iron plant along with power plant in the name of M/s G. R. Sponge and Power Ltd. in the year 2004.

From its inception, the G.R. Group has evolved from a solitary unit to a diversified corporation with its presence across several states. Belief in values and unwavering customer focus propelled us to transition from a single rolling steel mill to a prominent integrated steel manufacturer in India. Our foundational unit, Ramesh Steel Industries, laid the groundwork, allowing us to accumulate experience, insights, and customer trust. The GR Group's remarkable ascent is rooted in strong ideals and guided by the visionary Late Shri Ganpat Rai Agarwal. What began as a small seed sown by him has grown into an expansive tree, shaping our growth journey.

With 7 manufacturing plants spread across the states of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, GR Group has emerged as one of the fastest growing steel producers in the India. We have not only created efficient work processes to manufacture high quality steel, but have also developed new techniques in sourcing of raw material and delivering the finished products.
